Practicing

Today we were at a birthday playdate and Elijah found a baby doll that one of the little girls brought. He was so incredibly cute playing with it. He's going to be a great big brother (well except for the picture where it looks like he's poking the baby's eye out).

And showing off the visor that he made at another birthday party yesterday.

Apple and Pumpkin Picking

Today we headed to Johnson's farm to go apple and pumpkin picking. Elijah was in heaven with all the apples. Here are a few highlights from the day. For a lot more pictures click here.

Taste tester

Taste testing Jim's birthday cake last night. A Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup cake that we bought at the Amish mart not too far from here.

Day out with Thomas

Yesterday we took a trip out to the Lancaster area for a Day out with Thomas.
Elijah was such a happy boy and a trooper for making it through the entire day without napping even though he woke up early talking about choo choo's and deet deets. I think he was more excited about riding the school bus shuttle that they had to take us to and from the parking lot. haha. Despite the soggy weather it really was a great day and a wonderful way to spend my birthday.
After we were finished at the railroad we headed over to the Red Caboose Motel for some lunch/dinner. It's a really cute place that we're hoping to come back to one day to actually stay. The rooms and dining area are old train cars. The food was great too!

Train painting

Today at learning group the theme was trains and trucks. For the craft they used trains and trucks to paint.

Sneak preview

Today Elijah's Halloween costume came in the mail. Here he is wearing part of it, still have the clothes to put on. He was so excited to play with the tools and wear the hat. If you haven't guessed he's going to be Bobba (aka Bob the Builder).

Daddy's Mini-me

Yesterday Elijah was dressed like Daddy, right down to wearing his keys on his jeans.

But he also had to look somewhat like mommy by wanting to wear his necklace when he saw me putting on mine.

Mommy's little helper

Yesterday Elijah helped me make Pumpkin Spice Muffins. I think he only wanted to help so he could get the beaters. :)

End of summer

Last night we took our annual end of summer Labor Day weekend trip to Ocean City.
The moon was awesome.
