First day of "school"

One of the moms in the playgroup used to be a teacher so she organized a little learning group for some of the kids that will be meeting once a week. Today was the first day Elijah's group met. He has a little Thomas the train backpack to carry his supplies in. Of course being the stubborn little boy he is, he refused to wear it for pictures. I must say he looked pretty snazzy in his outfit.

This was his favorite part ... snack time. haha. The theme of the day was trains so they made little train cars out of graham crackers, peanut butter and topped with strawberries, pretzels, chocolate chips and marshmallows.

Tonight was a beautiful night so we headed down to the park after dinner.

Tick-a-dee Tick-a-dee

Yesterday Jim actually had the day off so we headed down to Ocean City for the evening and had dinner at Giuseppe's. One of Elijah's favorite things to do now is tickle people, Charlie and well whatever inanimate object he can find. While waiting for our food, he pointed to a picture hanging on the wall so that Jim would look at what he was pointing to.

Then did a surprise sneak tickle attack. As he tickles you he says 'Tick-a-dee Tick-a-dee'

Today we were at My Gym with the playgroup and Elijah had a blast. Looks like we might need to look into signing him up for a gym class sometime. He was climbing all over and hanging from the bars.

While visiting Elijah's aunt and uncle, we decided to go for a walk around our old neighborhood.

28 weeks

We're at 28 weeks now! 12 weeks (or possibly less) until the next little munchkin arrives! That also means about 12 weeks until Halloween. :)

Hoagiefest

Ever since Wawa came out with their Hoagiefest commercial Elijah has been obsessed with the hoagie man. Whenever it comes on tv he gets very excited and starts dancing. While at Wawa (which is every Saturday since their turkey hoagies seems to be my craving this time around) he loves looking at the hoagie man on the screen where you order. (oh and please excuse the mess on the floor. I've been going through and organizing the baby clothes this week)

Our visitor today

This morning I happened to look out the window and saw something moving across the street. As it got closer, I realized that it was a turtle! It made it's way across the street, over to the driveway and up the driveway where it took a little break. I guess it then moved over to the neighbor's yard.

Camden County 4H fair

On Saturday we went to the 4H fair in the area. We were able to see some horses, goats, bunnies and chickens. Of course Elijah's favorite part was riding the choo choo.
