Elijah and Jim watched a few of the Phillies's games last week. Ever since watching the games, Elijah now has to throw a ball with his leg up in the air like he's a pitcher. This kid takes everything in!

Another trip to Ocean City

We went down to Ocean City Saturday night. I had an encounter with a sea gull where he tried to take the french fry that I was holding but instead bit my finger. That really hurts!

Of course Elijah enjoyed the rides.

No more crib

Yesterday I walked in and found Elijah chilling on our bed with Charlie. He then showed me how he can climb on and off of our bed. This afternoon after his nap I asked him if he can climb out of his crib. He then hoisted himself up and started to go over the rail head first. We decided that it was time to start to transition him to a big boy bed since being woken up by a boy going overboard from his crib doesn't sound like much fun. So we made his bed into a day bed until we decide which big boy bed we'll be buying since the baby is going to be getting the crib.

2 Year Stats

Today we had Elijah's 2 year well visit at the pediatritians. He's just shy of 34 inches and weighed in at 28 lbs 1.7 oz. The doctor was pleased with his growth and said he's developing right on track. The best part for Elijah was that he didn't have to get any shots! That was a relief since yesterday I had to take him for the routine bloodwork for lead and anemia that I have been putting off. The poor little guy wasn't very happy (and neither was mommy having to see him cry so much) but all was better once he got 2 stickers. :-) No more doctors until he's 3 now!

Birthday Party!

On Friday we had Elijah's 2nd Birthday party. This year we had the theme of a backyard beach party. It turned out great and we had great weather, despite the horrible humidity. We were happy that Jim was able to take the day off and celebrate too.

Knoebels

We went to Knoebels on Saturday with my parents, brother and his family. Everyone had a great time and the weather was absolutely perfect, especially for the middle of July. Elijah enjoyed all of the rides he was able to go on. Click here for the pictures.

Elijah is officially 2! We had a busy weekend celebrating with his birthday party on Friday, Knoebel's and spending time with family in Williamsport yesterday and today. We're ready for a nice relaxing weekend. Have lots of pictures that will be posted later!

Big news!

Tonight while getting ready for bed Elijah sat on his little potty and went pee pee! He was so proud of himself as was his mommy and daddy.

4th of July

In the evening we went down to Ocean City to take Elijah's 2 year pictures (which will be posted soon) and then headed over to the boardwalk for the fireworks and of course the rides and Johnnson's popcorn.
