First dip of the year

Finally a day that actually felt like summer! Elijah went for his first dip in the backyard.

Today was our ultrasound and he was very active the entire time making the tech work hard for her money. It's neat comparing the profile shot of this one with the profile from Elijah's ultrasound as they are very similar. It will be exciting to see if they look a like once he's born. Right now he's measuring 2 days ahead of the due date.

First roller coaster ride

Elijah (and Jim) braved the kiddie roller coaster today at Ocean City. Elijah did fine until the last trip around. That's where he started to cling to Jim.

Strawberry picking

Yesterday we went strawberry picking at Johnson's Corner Farm with a few other families. The dark cloud that was looming nearby decided to open up and sprinkle just as we got to the field. Elijah was able to get a few strawberries picked before the sprinkles turned to rain.

hen the rain turned to a downpour. The men were the heroes of the day and picked the strawberries while the ladies and kids stayed dry.

The weekend

Yesterday our township had a little festival which ended with fireworks. We sat in the car to watch the fireworks.

Today we didn't have anything going on and the weather was beautiful so we headed down to Ocean City.
