Atlantic City Aquarium

Today we took a trip to the Atlantic City Aquarium. It's a cute and small aquarium, but the perfect size for the little ones. Elijah seemed to have a good time looking at the fish and touching the sting ray and horseshoe crabs.

We saw Nemo

Checking out the big turtle.
Here he is touching the horseshoe crab.

We then took a trip over to Ocean City to get some Johnson's Popcorn. It was a pretty damp and chilly day there, but we weren't the only crazy people out on the boardwalk.

Pickles and a Jelly donut

If he wasn't a boy and way too young, you would think that Elijah was having some crazy pregnancy cravings this morning.

New Floor

We started the process of replacing the carpet in the house with hardwood. The first room was the playroom. Elijah joined in with ripping up the carpet.
The before
And the after
And just for fun ... a complete before from the day we closed on the house. The now playroom is the farthest part of the room

Reading in the bed

First Taco

We had taco's tonight for dinner. Elijah wanted to be a big boy and eat a whole taco instead eating the separate foods on the plate.

Beautiful Day

Today Elijah and I spent the whole day at the zoo with some playgroup friends. It was an absolutely beautiful day. The kids were having a great time with the sheep and goats in the children's zoo.
This guy cracked me up because of his underbite.

The elephant came down and was drinking the water while we were there.

Some videos while with the sheep and goats.

Today

We were able to enjoy the beautiful day today. Elijah was helping with some yard work.
We went to a playdate in the afternoon. Elijah had a great time being the only boy.

About 8 inches

The official reading from our backyard after the snowstorm. Jim was excited that he was able to use his little toy.

Jim was able to get home from work early enough to play outside with us. Here he is showing Elijah what a snowball is

Look - they're walking alike. haha

And some pics from last week...

We learned that B stands for Balloon
