He'll kill me for this one day

Goldfish and Elmo

Every night after his bath Elijah gets a little bowl of Goldfish and watches Elmo's World. He gets mesmerized by that show.

19 month check up

Elijah had a pedi appointment today. He only had to have 1 shot, which was 1 too many for him. He sure gave the drs and nurses a run for their money today. =)

He is 25 lbs 8 oz and 32 inches.

The dr said he is doing great. He doesn't have to go back until he's 2! He was sure happy to hear that. He was nice and waved bye to the dr though.

First slippers

Elijah finally grew into the slippers he got for his birthday.

Good bye shed

Yesterday Jim demolished one of the sheds. It has slowly been becoming an eyesore and after the winds the other day took part of the siding off, we decided it was time.

During
The shell - we found out that the back wall didn't have any studs at all.
Almost down
Now we just have to get rid of all of the debris.

Fun at the Park

Today the weather was absolutely beautiful so we spent the afternoon at the park.

Cookie Decorating

The other day I went to a cookie decorating get together with some girls in the area here. There were a few kits leftover so I was able to bring one home for Elijah to have fun with so after dinner the other night we decorated cookies for dessert. He really enjoyed the sprinkles.

Today we went to a cookie decorating playdate.

Fun at the zoo

We took advantage of the nicer weather today and took a trip to the zoo. It was a little chilly at first, but as the day went on and the sun came out it turned out to be a nice day. We forgot Elijah's mittens at home, so he ended up wearing my gloves for a bit, of course they didn't match either since I just grabbed the first ones I found to shovel the snow the other day.

We learned a lot about Penguins from one of the zoo workers. Yes, that's penguin skin there on the fence to touch.

The gorilla came right over to Elijah.
Just a few blocks away from the zoo and Elijah was starting to doze off.

6 inches

That's about how much snow we got yesterday/last night. Elijah and I bundled up and went outside for a bit to play.
