We went to Party City yesterday and as we were heading out one of the workers gave Elijah his first balloon.

Today we had a playgroup meeting at a new place in Mt. Laurel called Kid Junction. As usual Elijah had a great time.

That's what Elijah's first real word is (besides mama and dada). He said it today in his monster like voice while eating crackers for a snack.

The topic at the story time at the mall the other day was Pirates. All the kids got a pirate patch.

11 Months!

Elijah now has 5 teeth, loves to climb, loves playing with other kids and is getting closer to walking.

With this being the last month before turning 1 I thought it would be fun to post the past year to see how much he's changed.

The final product

we finally got around to getting the flowers for the front this past weekend so here's the patio all decorated up.

Strawberries and Peas

Today we went to Johnson's farm to pick some strawberries! Elijah had a great time and actually picked a few! He's going to be a strawberry hound once he's able to eat them! (along with being a cantaloupe hound, a honeydew hound, cottage cheese hound and the list goes on)

And we also picked a few peas.

Today we did some fingerpainting again. This time went a little bit better as he didn't try to eat any of it!

And the countdown begins

Yup along with a few girls I met in this area I will be running my 1st 5k July 12th. We've been doing this really great running plan called Couch To 5k. I now really enjoy running. I hope to run the 3.1 miles in at least 30 min. Hopefully it won't be too humid of a day!
