On all 4's

Sunday night Elijah started to take off crawling on all 4's. Today he was trying to walk on his feet and his hands.

Valley Forge

This past weekend was spent gathering up bricks for our front patio through ads on craigslist. One of the places that we went to today was right next to Valley Forge National Park so we decided to stop by real quick. We'll be going back next week for more bricks that couldn't fit into the car so be sure to check for more pics then.

Chili Cook off Fun

Today we went to the Chili Cook Off at Gloucester County College. It was a lot of fun and we'll definitely go back next year. The Chili part was ok - in our opinion the chili wasn't all that great. I think ours was better. You had to wait in a very long line for chili that was eh tasting. But we got to do some very interesting people watching. Elijah got to meet Eeyore for the first time. He had a look of - what the heck are you?They had a petting zoo that we went through.

Elijah got to go to his first concert too. We heard:
Jason Michael Carroll, Lost Trailers and Wanted
Unfortunately at the end it was getting really chilly and windy so we decided to pack it up and head out before Sara Evans came on stage. We've heard her before so it wasn't that bad and at least we were able to beat the traffic out of there.

I guess we wore the little guy out.

9 month check up

We had Elijah's 9 month check up today. Glad to report that he's healthy and developing very well. He weighed in at 16 lbs 12 oz and is 26.5 inches. Yes he only gained a few oz since his last appt. Apparently he has good metabolism, obviously doesn't get that from his mother. Dr. doesn't seem concerned since he eats like a little piggy.

Duffield's Farm

Today we had a playdate at Duffields Farm petting zoo. Well it was really more of a look and see zoo since there was a fence going around so you couldn't touch the animals for some reason, but it was a BEAUTIFUL day and we all had fun anyways. Here are a few pics from it.

Happy 9 Months!

We had to change the location of our monthly picture.

Someone was very happy to be turning 9 months. Just 3 more months until the zoo!

Let's go surfin now everyone is learning how come on and safari with me.
And this is why we had to change our location.

2 big things happened once he turned 9 months.
1) He got up on his knees a couple of times to crawl instead of just doing the army crawl
2) He slept through the night last night. Yes mommy got a full night sleep for once. woohoo!

Elijah and I went to a playdate at the park today for one of our playgroups. It was a beautiful day and we all had fun.
